The 2008 TeamMate Tailgate Winner, Shannon Peterson of Gothenburg!

We have a winner! Shannon Peterson of Gothenburg. She was the third to draw a key and she was the first to try her key! Unbelievably her key was THE ONE! She is now the proud owner of a 2008 Dodge Dakota.

Although we can't give away five brand new pickups we made sure that our other four finalists didn't go away empty handed! Each of them received a pair of Husker Football Tickets, two passes to the Champions Club, Skeeter Barnes Food Certificates as well as other great tailgating necessities including a cooler!

It has been an amazing summer! We enjoyed meeting each and every one of you! Remember, The TeamMate Tailgate is over but the summer of 2009 is just around the corner and we are already working on another fantastic prize!

The Teammate Tailgate crew (Rod and Kim Zeigler, Natalie Anderson and Barb Maloney) headed up to North Loup for North Loup Popcorn Days.  This was the 108th annual event and was it ever fun. We joined in the Popcorn Days parade, an event that grows every year. This year for the first time there were antique tractors with a wide range of years and models. Elm Creek Buffalo Stampede

Team KRVN had a great turnout in Elm Creek for this year's Buffalo Stampede! Miller Fire Department BBQ

It was a hot, yet beautiful evening at the Miller Fireman's BBQ on Saturday, August 16th in Miller. Delicious BBQ beef, potato salad, baked beans and tea were enjoyed by many.  Many classic vehicles made up the car show.  River interns Leah Rieke and Trisha Rickel were fortunate enough to get to sit in a camero convertible.  Unfortunately, it never moved!  Oh, well, they had a good time along with everyone else in Miller!  Funny enough, the qualifer from the Miller BBQ w...
