Big Al Scores Again with Another #1 song on the Americana Charts!
For the past two weeks Big Al and B have been having fun watching the Americana charts listing their songs on the top. We released "Farmer's Dream" on July 14th to our radio listening family and Radio Active Airplay. Written together inspired by a family B wrote a featured story about for the Beacon Observer newspaper. Addison Richards farm had recieved the Pioneer Farm award, had spent his life farming the ground the way grandpa began, with mules, horses and hand plows, until he retired just a couple years ago. His farm is full of this unique equipment still today. Our song written by inspiration has wound up as an inspiring song not only for the pioneers but for the new generation of farmers. Available on Big Al's web-site and will be included on his new album along with last years #1 song "Roll on 18 Wheels".
Great Time was had by all as KRVN and Hometown Opey presented to Alma, Ne. from the God and Country Theater in Branson, Mo. Goldwing Express and Alma's talent LMNtree (Luke, Matthew, Nicholas Davis) opened the show. A full house enjoyed the great entertainment. LMNtree recieved their first standing obation, and encore for more! Goldwing touring across the nation with the best in Bluegrass, Gospel and Country with the addition of fun and humor. An awsome gathering of support form the town businesses for a raffle of prizes to help our young talent purchase the equipment needed to grow in their musiclal career. Already being asked to return next year...you are sure to see Hometown Opry back again!
A Big KRVN, Hometown Opry and Goldwing Express THANK YOU to the businesses helping out as ticket outlets: Holdrege Floral & Alma's Short Stop, Western Holiday Motel, Rings & Things, Joe's Camera.
Thank You to the Alma Boy Scouts for helping prepare for the show and doing such a great job cleaning and mopping up after, and for boxing up and delivering the food collected to the Alma Caring Cupboard.
And to Everyone that Supported the Entertainment and Enjoyed the Evening with us at the Alma City Audiorium
come back soon for pictures
