The pride of Beemer, Nebraska!
Hi friends, I'm Dennis Liermann. I have been a staple of the Eastern Nebraska area all my life. Radio has always been a big part of my life, for as long as I remember, when growing up, the radio ALWAYS had to be on for me to go to sleep at night. Sports radio was really fascinating to me, so much in fact that I would "broadcast" neighborhood ball games, when we were out in the yard. Baseball, basketball, football, it didn't matter, I always did play by play. I may or may not have done play by play of dinner time in the Liermann household a time or two too. It annoyed my friends and family, sure, but I just had to do it. I went to school in Beemer and did the public address announcing for our sports teams from Jr. High, all the way through High School. Eventually, I graduated in 1997. I then took my talents to Wayne State College and when all was said and done, I landed on the doorstep of KTIC in May of 2000. Yes, that's right, I have been at KTIC for 10 years, and they still pay me!! These days, I am the Music and Programming Director for KTIC-AM, you can hear me each and every weekday from 1 p.m.- 6 p.m. On the FM side of the dial, on 107.9 The Bull, I am on the air from 9 p.m.-12a.m., weeknights, as 'Big D in the Nighttime".
