Mission Statement: "The Nebraska Rural Radio Foundation will help rural Nebraskans acquire educational opportunities and assist other groups in
telling the story of agriculture."

Nebraska Rural Radio Association General Managers:
Max Brown 1951-1979
Eric Brown 1979 - Present

From its first day, KRVN has been the Rural Voice of Nebraska. The Nebraska Rural Radio Association is still owned by more than 4,000 farmers and ranchers. Governed by a 9 person Board of Directors, there are 6 radio stations in the Rural Radio Network: KNEB AM/FM, KTIC AM/FM and KRVN AM/FM.
This belief in agriculture began with the first general manager, Max Brown and the tradition continues. Son, Eric, succeeded his father as general manager in 1979 and continues in that role today.
Created in memory of Max Brown, the Rural Radio Foundation is another way for us to serve agriculture and the many producers who rely on the information we provide. Within our pages you will find our Foundation Board of Directors, learn the history of the Rural Radio Association and find out to donate to our foundation. On the fundraiser page make sure you check out the details of our first big event. We'd love to have you join us!
